This Privacy Policy explains how Phoenix Link handles personal information connected with Phoenix Invoice Link, the Phoenix Link website, purchase fulfilment, download access, and customer support.
Phoenix Link handles personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (ECTA), where applicable.

3. Information We Process
Phoenix Link may process:
- buyer name, email address, phone number, business name, and order reference
- selected operating system, support option, payment status, PayFast references, and fulfilment records
- download-token records, download counts, expiry dates, email delivery status, and support history
- website logs, browser/device information, IP address, and security events
- support messages, screenshots, logs, files, or database extracts that the customer deliberately sends to Phoenix Link
Payment providers process payment information under their own terms and privacy notices. Phoenix Link does not store card details.
4. Local App Data
Phoenix Invoice Link is designed as a local desktop-style business app.
Business records created inside the installed app are stored on the user's own device unless the user deliberately sends information to Phoenix Link for support or configures an external service such as SMTP email.
Users are responsible for privacy notices and lawful processing of their own customers' information inside the installed app.
5. Why We Use Information
Phoenix Link uses personal information to:
- process purchases and payment confirmations
- provide download access and licence fulfilment
- send welcome, support, and security-related emails

Users remain responsible for protecting their own devices, local app database, passwords, email accounts, backups, and exported files.
